The "possessions" were the old production centres around which the Mallorcan countryside was organised until the 20th century. These constructions were the social axis of the Mallorcan countryside; the lord, the foreman and his wife, the permanent workers and day labourers, the market gardeners, the charcoal burners and above all the olive harvesters on a farm like ours... Would you like to know what life was like on a large estate in the Serra de Tramuntana? We will discover it together in an interesting morning by the places where they lived: a small excursion to a spring in the mountain; the visit to the houses and a typical snack from which we will leave without eating.
Excursion from the main houses of the estate to the fountain of "Sa Gruta". Walk through the olive grove to enjoy the nature, the landscape; as well as to know the crops, other traditional activities. Make a stop at this unique ethnological element of the farm and enjoy the panoramic view of the main houses.
• Presentation of the farm by the current owner family.
• Visit to the chapel of the farm.
• Visit to the old oil mill. Explanations about its operation and the production of oil in the past.
• Snack: "Pá amb Oli" cheese and black pork sausage, handmade and organic; olives from the farm and "ramellet" tomatoes; ensaimada; water flavoured with lemon and spearmint; and/or "Sincronía" wine from Mesquida Mora.
• * We can adapt the snack to restrictions or food allergies, on request in advance.
