"Ses Cases de Sollerich", are our two weekly holiday rental houses: "Ca Sa Madona" inside the main houses of the possessió, and outside them "Es Refugi".

It is one of the great mountain "possessions" known in Muslim times as Alquería Xular. It is located in the valley of the same name between Puig de Alcadena, Castell d'Alaró, Puig d'Amós and Puig de Almadrá. Between the villages of Alaró and Orient.
We have two houses that we rent for weekly holiday rentals with a barbecue area and swimming pool available to our clients.

An estate with history
Its history dates back to the Muslim era, when it was known as the Xular farmhouse. In the 18th century it became a marquisate.
Archduke Luis Salvador tells us that there were two oil mills on the estate, each with two beams, and that the oil industry was very important.

Agroculture experiences
The "possessions" were the old production centres around which the Mallorcan countryside was organised until the 20th century. They were the social axis of the Mallorcan countryside; the lord, the majoral and his wife, the permanent workers and day labourers, the market gardeners, the coalmen and above all the olive pickers on a farm like ours... "Our little farm"
Nestled between two table mountains lies a small paradise for nature lovers. Complete tranquillity apart from Sounds of Nature. If you think there's nothing going on, you're wrong: sheep, donkeys, chickens, goats, mountain bikers, hikers and joggers entertain us everywhere. Or in short: exactly the kind of company we want to meet on holiday. It takes half an hour to get to the next restaurant. We cooked ourselves and ate in the garden under a shady tree. The house is spacious and has all the amenities. A good gas cooker, a good mattress and a sofa for reading, a shower at ground level and tastefully decorated. "Magic time in beautiful area"
We were there for 3 weeks and enjoyed it very much. It was the perfect base for us to have a relaxing, lovely time in Mallorca. The house is equipped with everything you need, even for a longer time. Its surrounded by pure nature and you have a smile on your face all the time. There was even Wi-Fi so we could work from there. It is also a great base for all walks and the next village Alaro is very charming.
